Unlike your birth chart, which is fixed, the transit chart changes continuously and reveals how current planetary energy interacts with each house of the horoscope.
Each of the 12 houses governs a life area (e.g., House 1 = self, House 7 = relationships, House 10 = career). When a planet transits a house, its natural significations blend with that house's themes. A benefic like Jupiter in House 11 can expand income and social gains, while Saturn in House 12 may bring expenses or isolation.
KP (Krishnamurti Paddhati) transit uses the Placidus house system and divides each nakshatra into sub-lords (SL). Rather than judging results by sign alone, KP judges results by the nakshatra lord (NL) and sub lord (SL) a planet occupies. A planet gives results of the houses signified by its NL and SL, making predictions more precise.
In KP astrology, the Ascendant and house cusps shift as geographic location and local time change.
